There is a small "X" markered on the upper left hand corner of cover. Peter was curious about the birds flying south, the hare's coat turning white, the squirrel storing the nuts for the time when winter came. He tried all of the animal's ways and tried to sleep like a bear but got too hungry. Soft, attractive, illustrations done in shades of brown, robin blue. ; 4331.
